Líng zhī (Ganoderma; 灵芝) is a medicinal mushroom with a very long history dating back to over 2000 years. In TCM, it is used to tonify the "three treasures"—the three things that are vital to sustaining life—which are Jing (kidney essence), Qi (vital energy), and Shen (spirit).

Dosage:
6g to 12g

Suggested use:
Boil 6g líng zhī (灵芝片), 6g American ginseng (花旗参 / 泡参), and 4-5 red dates in 1 litre of water. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for 45 minutes. You may also add other complementary herbs such as wolfberries (gǒu qǐ; 枸杞), mài dōng (麦冬), and dendrobium (shí hú; 石斛). Let the tea cool down for a bit before adding some honey. This healthy tea aids in strengthening the immune system and boosting Qi.
