Blue Pea Flower 蝶豆花

Blue pea flower contains high amounts of Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate (EGCG), a type of catechin which is also predominantly found in green tea, known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Proanthocyanidin, an antioxidant found in the flower, also helps promote blood flow to the capillaries of the optic cells. In addition, blue pea flower helps the body fight against damage caused by free radicals and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Suggested use:

It is recommended to pour away the first brew to 'wash' the tea.
